Leaving Little Corn
26 10 2004We’re waiting in the grass hut airport terminal on big corn listening to a random mix of music ranging from reggae to Latin romance to American country music. Right now ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel just ended and the cheesy 80s version of ‘Lady in Red’ is on. I was somehow successful in making a call on my cellphone to Meghan’s mom via the local Enitel GSM network. Apparently to dial the US, you have to dial 00+1+a.c.+number. It seems that La Costena doesn’t really care much about sticking to schedules. So far they are 30 mins late… No worries, our plane to San Jose doesn’t leave until 3 pm, but the other airline (Atlantic) left on time. Ah, aqui esta noestra avion.
